Can I use a Smart TV instead of an Apple TV to display heart rates?

The OnBeat app will work with any TV that has an HDMI port.

A Smart TV connects to the internet and has built-in storage. Simply buying a Smart TV is not enough to connect the OnBeat app to it. You either need the Apple Lightning to HDMI Adapter or an Apple TV box (any generation) to cast the image to the TV. IMPORTANT: Generic adapters found on Amazon and eBay will not work with the OnBeat App.
