Hardware and TV setup for OnBeat (website summary)

Connect up to 12 Bluetooth heart rate monitors at once with just your iPhone or iPad (13 or more connections need additional hardware; contact us). A printable PDF guide is on the onbeat.fit Hardware Installation page.

To show OnBeat on a TV you will want:

  • A 26"-55" TV wall mount or ceiling mount
  • The Apple HDMI to Lightning adapter, or an Apple TV (2nd generation and above)
  • An HDMI cable (a short one for the Apple TV option)
  • An HDMI splitter if you want to show multiple TVs

An iPad 2 (2015) or newer is compatible. Generic HDMI to Lightning adapters from Amazon or eBay do not work with OnBeat; only buy the Apple adapter.
